41 Bridge Street presents Switch Factory on Saturday, March 26th at 8:00 PM! The Collinsville String Band will open.

Switch Factory, a four-piece string band from the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut, plays a mix of bluegrass, Americana, blues and folk rock. Known for their instrumental improvisation and down-home vocal harmonies, Switch Factory have garnered themselves a devoted following, playing original music, a wide array of traditional American folk songs from the public domain, and covers from various songwriting masters, including Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Johnny Cash, Jerry Garcia and Gillian Welch. The band features multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Todd Stoughton from Bethlehem on mandolin, bass player Jona Ziac of Fairfield (who also plays the dobro, lap-steel and guitar), singer-songwriter Jason Perkel of Goshen on guitar and vocals, and singer-songwriter Nat Worden of Litchfield on guitar, harmonica and vocals. The Hartford Courant praises the band’s “…deep repertoire of traditional songs and originals…and sturdy three-part harmonies.”
