41 Bridge Street presents Jeff Przech & The Outfit with Belle of the Fall (and opening act, Steve Dedman of Plywood Cowboy) on Friday, September 9th at 8 PM!

Jeff Przech likes to tell stories. Musical stories. Influenced by contemporary artists like Isbell, Adams, and Simpson, along with classic artists like Kristofferson, Jennings, and Dylan, Przech's debut release, "Sounds Like Fresh" (2015), was carried by classic songwriting and led by Przech’s deep, soulful vocals and acoustic guitar work. Now in 2016, Przech is recording new material with his band, The Outfit. Recording with Tracy Walton at On Deck Sound Studios in Northeast Connecticut, Przech & The Outfit are taking the storytelling of the first record and adding a little twang and rootsy grit to the songs. The results can be heard in "Under Your Skin" and "Maribelle," the first two singles from this lineup. The band and the music straddle the line between Alt Country and good old-fashioned Rock n' Roll.

Belle of the Fall is composed of Tracy Walton, an accomplished bassist, songwriter, and Taylor guitar artist, and Julia Autumn Ford, a singer of rare talent who also plays acoustic guitar, yukitar and the occasional melodica. In 2014, Walton produced Ford’s debut album at his On Deck Sound Studio. In essence, the record marked the birth of Belle of the Fall, as Tracy plays all of the instruments on the record while Julia sings. Later that year, they toured the East Coast together, sharing bills and playing separate solo sets. Sometimes an idea seems too simple and takes a while to come to fruition; simply put, Walton and Ford soon discovered two was better than one! With Bell of the Fall, it was as simple two musical forces colliding and finally agreeing to go “All in.”

Steve Dedman of Plywood Cowboy was bottle fed on roots music. A multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter Steve Dedman and his band Plywood Cowboy strike deep at the soul of American music with songs about hound dogs, heart strings, and the vice of the bottle. Formed in 2015 in the Connecticut River Valley, Plywood Cowboy is poised to rewrite the American Songbook. Just one year into their existence, the band has received consistent accolades for their music, which has been described as “incredible, toe-tapping, quality Ameriana music” (Ibby Carothers, iCRV Radio) and a “compelling balance between smart/feelingful lyric and dynamically tasty sound” (Ira Sakolsky, Grammy-nominated artist).
