Comedy Night: RC Smith and Bill Boronkay

Friday August 26, 2016 @ 8:00 PM

41 Bridge Street presents Friday Night Comedy with RC Smith and Bill Boronkay on Friday, August 26th at 8 PM!

RC Smith is known in the television and comedy industry as one of the best “warm-up men” in the business. Smith has all the attributes of a truly great warm-up comic: quick, smooth, and funny, with an electric energy capable of jump-starting an audience from nothing to something right at the start of the show! His style is rapid-fire, relentless, and non-stop, and he possesses the unique ability to work with an audience. RC Smith is currently the warm-up comic for “The Rachael Ray Show”; he has also done warm-up for “The Colbert Report,” “The Tony Danza Show,” “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire,” “The Caroline Rhea Show,” “The Ricki Lake Show,” and NBC’s “Clash Of The Choirs.” Smith headlines all over the US and Canada, and is a regular on a handful of 50,000 watt radio stations around the country—a true testament to his adaptability, likability, and creativity.

Bill Borankay was once one of the country’s fastest rising sportscasters (he won 5 Emmy’s), but after a failed audition with ESPN (a mirror was involved), Boronkay reevaluated his career and took off in lukewarm pursuit of his true 14th dream, stand-up comedy! Boronokay works in Cleveland TV, hosting “The High School Sports Insider” on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, and culls many remarkable life experiences as a never-married middle-aged man. This “Former Sportscaster, Current Comedian, and Future Bingo Champion” is sure to leave you in stitches!
