Comedy Night: Mike Jacobs
Friday August 4, 2017 @ 8:00 PM
41 Bridge Street presents Friday Night Comedy headlined by MIKE JACOBS on Friday, August 4th at 8 pm!
Headliner Mike Jacobs’ edgy brand of autobiographical comedy traces its roots to the north end of Hartford, Connecticut where he was voted “funniest kid” in his 6th grade class along with “best legs” (but don’t count on seeing them). His stories of “life” are hilarious, relevant to everyone, and true; while his outlook on life, liberty, and the pursuit of a plane ride without a screaming kid will leave you coming back for more! Feel the energy as Mike takes the stage and walks you up and down the “mean” streets of his very funny life!
Jacobs' has made his mark in various festivals and comedy contests including the prestigious Boston Comedy Festival, Carolines Comedy Final Four, a laugh-off of NYC’s TOP 64 comedians, and the “Stand Up 360” NY Comedy Festival. Mike was also featured in the documentary, “Why StandUp?”, a gritty look at the world of comedy in NYC. Mike is a regular throughout the top clubs in NYC, in addition to performing sold out shows at Zanie's in Chicago, Helium in Philly, Cobbs Comedy in San Francisco, and the Mohegan Sun Casino. Mike is on his fourth year of opening for Richard Lewis (Curb Your Enthusiasm); Mr Lewis recently said of Mike, ”He is the greatest comic I have shared a stage with in 45 years," which is quite an endorsement coming from one of the top 50 comics of all time! Mike's first CD, "Bitter With Age...Rants from the Jack of all Tirades" will be released this year.
Audiences across the country love Mike Jacobs, and we're sure you will too! Tickets to see this hilarious, homegrown comedian are $15 for General Admission and $25 for VIP Reserved.
Check Out Mike Jacobs!
