Bridge Street's Anniversary Party!

Saturday October 7, 2017 @ 5:00 PM

It's Bridge Street's Anniversary on Saturday, October 7th...we're having a party...and you're invited!!

It's been a big year for Bridge Street: our new Chef Jimi Taylor completely revamped and revitalized our dining experience, breathing farm-fresh life into the Green Door Restaurant and Speakeasy; we've continued to bring you the best live music and stand-up comedy to sell-out success; and we've completed several expansion projects including covering our Riverside Deck! With so much to celebrate, we've decided a party is in order...here's what we have in store:

From 5-7 pm, the Green Door Speakeasy will be serving farm-fresh-fare on both the Riverside Deck and the indoor Dining Room. CT singer-songwriter Bill Benson will serenade you while you sip a signature speakeasy cocktail and take in our magnificent view of the Farmington River foliage. Dinner reservations are strongly encouraged!

At 7 pm, the doors to Bridge Street Live will open, and at 7:30 PROFESSOR LOUIE & THE CROWMATIX will take the stage. Professor Louie & The Crowmatix began as the studio backing band for Aaron “Professor Louie’s” musical productions for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees, The Band. Louie collaborated with The Band for over 17 Years. Today, Professor Louie & the Crowmatix are on The Woodstock Records label and perform a repertoire steeped in American roots music. They have been nominated for a GRAMMY award and play 150 shows a year in the US and worldwide.

At 8:30 pm, the evening's headliner, THE MARK MERCIER BAND, will go on. Mark Mercier has been the keyboardist for the legendary band MAX CREEK for 45 years. In addition to playing in Max Creek, Mark has also sat in with a number of bands, including: Phil and Friends, Mike Gordon Band, The Band, BK3, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Donna the Buffalo, Zen Tricksters and others. Mark is extremely excited to be headlining this, his newest endeavor, the Mark Mercier Band. MMB consists of Mark on the keys, veteran bass player Jeff King of "The Kings," drummer Chris Andrews of "Desert Rain," and guitarist Andrew Decker of Downright Music, an essential cog in the wheel of the Collinsville music scene. The material performed by MMB contains more of Mercier’s originals and original arrangements, as well as music brought in by the other players.

Tickets to attend our exciting Anniversary Party with Professor Louie & the Crowmatix and the Mark Mercier Band are $20 for General Admission and $30 for VIP Reserved (with fees). Tickets do not include dinner or dinner reservations, so if you'd like to eat in the Green Door Restaurant before the 7:30 pm show (featuring free folk music by Bill Benson), please call 860-693-9762 to make a reservation.
